On October 27th, 2012 CFF celebrated its 30th Anniversary at the Great Hall of University of Toronto. After an opening reception a dinner was served and speeches were given, Master of Ceremony Börje Vähämäki, thanked past and current board members for their dedication over the years. Some of the founding members of CFF were also present. As part of the event, the third annual Varpu Lindström lecture was given by one of Canada’s greatest women leaders, Hon Judy Erola, MP PC. The evening was concluded by a beautiful piano performance by Heidi Saario.
As part of the celebrations, a 30th Anniversary Publication was published including photos and articles about the creation of the CFF, reminiscenses from past Presidents, greetings from other CFF chapters, etc.
