CFFEF has been raised funds for scholarships to be given to outstanding students of the Finnish Studies Program. Since the fall of 1990, the Program has given out 5-7 in-course scholarships each year, mostly ranging from $500 to $1000. In 2003, the Ensio family endowed The Martta Maria Aho Ensio Scholarship Fund which is administered by CFFEF. From 1990 to present, the Finnish Studies Program has awarded more than $60,000 in scholarship to more than 100 students. The scholarships are based on academic excellence and favour students pursuing a major or minor in Finnish Studies.
